Cardi B's leaking butt injections showcase the dangers of illegal plastic surgery

In a new  interview with GQ,  Cardi B shared tidbits about her wild past, including the time she got butt injections in a woman's basement. At this point in her life, Cardi was 21-years-old and still stripping. She felt like she “didn’t have enough meat” on her body to make a lot of money as a dancer, so she turned to the underground plastic surgery in raipur market. Brazilian butt augmentations from a board-certified surgeon can  cost anywhere from $8,000 to $10,000, but Cardi got her procedure for a "steal" at $800. How? Because Cardi's basement butt enhancements were highly illegal — and  extremely dangerous.
Cardi revealed her butt injections left her with the "craziest pain ever," and they leaked for five days.

She visited a woman in Queens, NY who agreed to illegally inject fillers into the desired area. “They don’t numb your ass with anything,” Cardi recalled. “It was the craziest pain ever. I felt like I was gonna pass out. I felt a little dizzy. And it leaks for, like, five days.”
When Cardi went back for a second round of shots, she discovered the woman had been sent to jail for administering a round of injections that left a woman dead.

"By the time I was gonna go get it, the lady got locked up ’cause she’s supposedly killed somebody," Cardi continued. "Somebody died on her table.”
Cardi's story is a sobering reminder of the dangers of illegal plastic surgery.
Cardi told  VladTV last year that she knew the risks when she decided to get the butt injections, but she figured it "wouldn't happen to her." As Cardi explained, "When half of the strippers and the bartenders in New York City have illegal ass shots that is done practically by the same person, it's just like,  Yeah, I heard that some women died of it, but it's like what are the odds? What are the odds it's going to be me?" But the fact of the matter is, it very well could have been her. Death from illegal plastic surgery is on the rise, and while many women feel the pressure to have a fuller butt, a bigger booty is simply not worth a person's life.
